The last week of school instead of doing activity’s for are literacy. We did a play, me and my friends Me, Jack, Jesse, Koa and Ryan. We did a scen Wich was there were two scary teachers  (Jack and Nate) Two students (Jesse and Rylan) then a security (Koa) What kind of scene would you like.

This week he have been learning about Christmas traditions. There are different traditions throughout the world. I have created  a Christmas tree. This is part of the Christmas traditions from Germany, because Germany invented the Christmas tree. did you know that queen Victoria put up the Christmas tree in the United kingdom. Today we did a create task with poems. Me and my friend Jesse did one about football. It might not be the best poem you’ve seen. Do you have a favorite poem or would you like to make your one one?

This week we have been reading a book called The Matakite and the Moakai. For are create we had to learn how to weave for the people that don’t know how to. We didn’t just have to do weaving we had to do a fluency task witch is you record the book that you’ve been read that week, we did a sentence builder, you have to make the sentence make scene. There are more things but there is to much to write. So that’s how we got to do weaving.

This term we have been reading a novel. This novel was called Children of the rush. It’s writing by James Russel. we had to read mostly every morning. In the last week we had to make a movie trailer about a scene in the book. Me and my group witch is Luca,Jackson,Jesse and Koa. We decided to do a scene when Micheal and his father also there dog was hungry and then a little girl call Atarangi stole bread from a hotel and gave it to them. I recommend this book its really interesting and relaxing to read. Will you try out this book?
